Coach to York fracking protest

Following the decision by North Yorkshire County Council to approve a fracking application at Kirby Misperton despite overwhelming local opposition, campaigners are applying for judicial review. The case is important, not just to local campaigners but regionally and nationally, because it could open the floodgates to other fracking applications.

To demonstrate the strength of the opposition to fracking, a demonstration has been called on 30th July in York. Yorkshire campaigners have been a lively presence at London climate change demonstrations - let's support them in their fight against fracking!

The coach will be leaving Kings Cross, York Way at 8am, and departing York from St George's Field carpark, Castle Mills Bridge, YO10 4AB at 3.30pm

As well as £25 tickets, we are also offering a subsidised rate of £10 for unwaged people who couldn't afford the full price. If anyone would like to make a donation to help support this subsidy that would be great! (Campaign against Climate Change and Friends of the Earth will cover any outstanding cost).
