Campaign against Climate Change is holding a public meeting entitled 'International Insight - what we can learn from the latest IPCC report and COP19'.  The public meeting will have a range of speakers, from climate scientists to trade unionists and activists.

The meeting will be hosted in the Friendship Centre at Bloomsbury Baptist Church, which is one and a half minutes from Congress House in central London.

The public meeting will be looking at the recently published IPCC report, discussing the science and what will need to happen for positive change to occur..

Graham Petersen, the UCU representative on the International Trade Union Confederation delegation to the COP will be talking about his experiences in Warsaw and insider insights into the COP19 Discussions.

Also speaking will be Carla Montemayor, a Philippine relief and reconstruction campaigner, who will share with us updates of what is happening in the Philippines and how everyone there is coping with the devestation caused by Typhoon Haiyan.

We will also be having feedback from our National Coordinator Fiona Brookes, who has been in Warsaw over the weekend at the COP19 talks. We will be summing up what progress has been made and looking at which countries in particular have been pushing forward on action or have been failing to act.
