Campaign against Climate Change and Fuel Poverty Action are holding a public meeting at 19.30 on Monday 9th December entitled 'Time to Act: Climate, Fuel Poverty and Energy Reform'.

The event will focus on the connection between fuel poverty and climate change; that by addressing climate change through a better energy policy, we can solve social injustices such as fuel poverty. As well as insights into the Berlin energy reform situation.

The speakers at the event will be the  a representative from Fuel Poverty Action Group and Jonas from the Climate Working group of FeIS, (Für eine linke Strömung), which is part of the Berliner-Energietisch coalition which recently organised and mobilised for a referendum on the ownership of the Berlin energy grid and CCC National Coordinator Fiona Brookes.

The meeting is being hosted in Room G50, School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS) in the Main Building. The address is SOAS University, Russell Square, London WC1H 0XG, the nearest tube stations are Russell Square and Goodge Street. It is a 20 minute walk from King's Cross St Pancras.
